Your Sports Story Deserves to be Told
We want to know how playing sports changed your life and give you the platform to share that story with the world. Join youth athletes all over the country in submitting your story for a chance to win!

The Scholarship Contest for Student-Athletes
The SPORTSDOG Storytellers contest invites student-athletes finishing grades 10-12 in 2025 to share their experience with sports via essay, 90-second video, speech, or voice recording.
Here are some prompts to consider:
All written submissions should be limited to 500-words and video submissions must be a maximum of 90 seconds, uploaded in MP4 format.
Tell us your youth sports “why”—how did you start playing? Why do you continue to play? How has sports impacted your life for the better? What lessons have you learned?
Describe an unforgettable moment in your youth sports career—maybe it was a big win, a point you scored in a clutch moment, a failure that taught you something important, an award, or something unrelated to the score at all. What lessons did you learn? What made this moment so unforgettable?
Can you tie any of these stories or moments back to the LeagueApps SPORTSDOG Values? Sportsmanship, Passion, Openness, Results, Team, Student of the Game, Difference Maker, Own Your Role, Grit
How to enter
Through August 1, 2025, read the Official Rules and submit your entry (including your contact information). Only online submissions will be accepted.
Five finalists will be selected and announced by August 18, 2025 and the Grand Prize Winner will be selected by August 25, 2025. Winners will be notified by email, please monitor your inbox for this information.

Prizes
Five Finalists
A $500 Amazon e-gift card and a feature on the LeagueApps’ blog and social media accounts will be awarded to five finalists, selected by our judging panel.
One Grand Prize
An additional $1,000 scholarship and an invitation to share your story in-person with the youth sports community at the NextUp: the Youth Sports Management Conference in New York City on October 15 + 16, 2025.
