LeagueApps is a founding member of the PLAY Sports Coalition, having helped get the organization off the ground in April 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic put sports on pause. We have led the fight for economic support for youth sports organizations and families, helping to unlock more than $20M in grant funding to youth sports nonprofits in underserved communities, and introducing legislation to support these organizations through game-changing federal funds.
Making Sports More Accessible for All
We believe that everyone should be able to play, but children from underserved communities often miss out on this opportunity. That’s why we created FundPlay Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing free software to more than 400 community sports organizations, enabling more than 550,000 unique sports opportunities for kids. LeagueApps contributes 1% of its revenue to FundPlay Foundation and has committed to providing software licenses, and employee and administrative support.
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
The entire LeagueApps community contributes to our collective impact. Because LeagueApps commits 1% of its revenue towards youth sports accessibility, every LeagueApps customer helps to ensure more kids have access to the benefits of youth sports simply by using our software. We also work with our customers to help them have a bigger impact in their local communities.
In addition, the LeagueApps team supports community sports organizations and FundPlay Foundation and its grantees through its company volunteering program, its annual FundPlay Day of Service, and by mentoring youth that are pursuing education or careers in tech.
