For some, a long weekend means a weekend getaway, Spring cleaning, or catching up on your favorite TV show (the Bear, anyone?)

We know that for you, it probably means tournaments.

Here’s what you missed while you were on the sidelines:

6. Despite the risk of brain injury, kids are still playing tackle football. Here’s why.

7. This past weekend was NBA All Star Weekend, and the Jr. NBA presented a number of workshops and clinics for youth—including a Business of Sports workshop to highlight non-playing basketball careers, coach and player clinics, Her Time to Play, and more, led by NBA all stars (like Wemby!).

8. The Harris-Blitzer baseball portfolio—which includes Ripken Baseball, Cooperstown All-Star Village, Baseball Factory, and Softball Factory—just named Wade Martin their new CEO.
