The Paul Rabil Foundation is committed to helping children with learning differences by creating programs and partnerships through sport and scholarship. It was founded by Paul Rabil and the Rabil family with a strong emphasis on helping children with dyslexia.
Dyslexia is the most common form of reading, writing and spelling difficulties. It is a syndrome of varied symptoms affecting over 40 million American children and adults.
This year’s holiday fundraising event was held in New York, a first for the foundation. It was held at the New York Athletic Club.
The LeagueApps team was honored to be a part. Not only was the event sponsored in part by LeagueApps, but a handful of employees volunteered for the occasion.
Paul Rabil is a proud investor of LeagueApps.
“A lot of folks from LeagueApps here are supporting us here in a voluntary basis as well as sponsoring the event. They’re involved in youth sports through consolidating and delivering better experiences for operators,” Rabil said.
The proceeds from the event to distribute scholarships to children attending our partnered schools, the Lab School of Washington, The Jemicy School, The Baltimore Lab School, Dyslexic Tutoring Program, and The Odyssey School in Stevenson.
So far, over $425,000, 72 scholarships, and $50,000 in equipment have been donated to the cause. You can watch Paul Rabil’s full speech below.
