This past weekend, the LeagueApps Partnership team made their way out of Manhattan and through the farmlands of New Jersey to Flemington to watch some of the top baseball prospects on the east coast play ball in the invitation-only Super Seventeen tournament. After about an hour and a half ride through The Garden State, we arrived at an epicentre for baseball prospects, passionate parents, and scouts; Diamond Nation.
After checking out the indoor clubhouse known as Jack Cust Baseball Academy (home of the host teams, the Diamond Jacks), we were off to watch partners like Cadets Baseball Academy and Team Steel compete alongside some of the most elite club teams on the east coast. It was a long, fun day watching over a dozen games as the all-turf fields emanated heat from those rubber pellets as the sun beat down from a cloudless sky. Check out the photos our team captured from the event here!
At LeagueApps, we love getting out to tournaments like Super Seventeen. It allows us to connect in person with local sports communities- from the organizers we work with on a day-to-day basis, helping them make sports happen, to the parents and outstanding players that we’re so passionate about supporting. We’re always on the road- look out for us at these upcoming events near you.
