Swin Cash of the WNBA

You may have heard this WNBA legend’s name in the news this past week, as she was just inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame this last week. Swin Cash is a two-time US Olympian, and three-time WNBA Champion, and is now the VP of Operations and Team Development for the New Orleans Pelicans—so, rest assured, she’ll provide a valuable perspective on sports management.

She’ll be speaking during our High Performance On and Off the Field session to discuss the secrets to high performance for youth sports executives.

Paul Rabil of Premier Lacrosse League

Former professional lacrosse player and co-founder of the Premier Lacrosse League, Paul Rabil represents the best of the best in lacrosse.  He has an impressive list of accolades in lacrosse under his belt—including three-time Major League Lacrosse MVP and three-time Major League Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year. 

Technology—like VR, augmented reality, blockchain, web3, and NFTs—will inevitably change how youth sports is managed and experienced. Paul will speak about where youth sports is headed and what every youth sports leader should consider to prepare for that future.

Julie Foudy of ESPN

If you don’t know Julie Foudy—AKA loudy Foudy—you’ll want to get to know her at NextUp. 

If anyone knows women’s sports—a pivotal topic in the world of youth sports today—it’s Julie Foudy. In fact, she co-founded the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy—an organization focused on developing leadership skills in teenage girls. 

Foudy was the co-captain of the United States women’s national soccer team from 1991-2000, and the captain from 2000-2004. She’s a two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist, the first woman ever to receive the FIFA Fair Play Award, and is in the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Currently, she’s an analyst, reporter, and the primary color commentary for women’s soccer telecasts on ESPN. To speak about? 

Derrick Dockery of the NFL and TikTok

Former NFL Guard and current leader in U.S. Government Affairs at TikTok, Derrick Dockery will join NextUp to talk about how and why playing youth sports gives kids advantages in life, as well as how to brand your organization in a way that will help it grow. 

Jeff Addiego of the Golden State Warriors

Jeff Adiego is the Vice President of Warriors Basketball Academy at the Golden State Warriors—their youth sports basketball program. He’ll be joining the Disruption of Youth Sports session to discuss where youth sports is headed and how technology will affect that. 

Benita Fitzgerald Mosley of LeagueApps

Benita Fitzgerald Mosley is an absolute expert in youth sports in all senses of the word. She’s the former CEO of Laureus, a global organization that uses the power of sport to transform the lives of children and young people;  former CEO of the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and current Vice President of Community & Impact and President of FundPlay at LeagueApps. 

Lest we forget she’s also an Olympic Gold Medalist, no big deal.
