New rehabilitation technologies and techniques can sometimes appear out of nowhere. There is a flash-in-the-pan quality to some of the trendy practices made famous by world-class athletes. But in most cases, the notoriety gained for a particular rehabilitation resource serves as a launching pad for widespread use.
In this week’s episode of Sideline Data, we’re joined by Jessica Hettler, Director of the James M. Benson Sports Rehabilitation Center at Hospital for Special Surgery. Jessica is uniquely positioned to speak about the technological advancements and trends within the sports rehabilitation industry. For this 10-minute podcast, we’ll be revisiting the world’s most famous Olympian’s foray into an ancient rehabilitation practice.
