The Michigan Sport Business Conference is the nation’s premier undergraduate-run sport business conference. It was developed in 2011 by a group of undergraduate students affiliated with both the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan.
LeagueApps was proud to be a sponsor of for this year’s event. During Friday’s presentations, speaker and LeagueApps investor Dhani Jones gave the floor to CEO Brian Litvack and President Jeremy Goldberg who made a pretty big announcement on the company’s future.
The announcement was pretty popular with the crowd and on social media too.
A cool 1st I’ve seen: Company (@leagueapps) at a conference, this one being @UMSBC, offering an intern a FT gig from the stage #MSBC17

Most memorable moment from incredible @UMSBC: when @leagueapps surprised their former intern with full-time offer in front of entire crowd

Alex Needelman was an intern for the team over the summer of 2017. His grit and passion was clearly evident throughout the summer, and his work ethic impressed everyone on the team.
“I was impressed with Alex,” said Brian. “He’s someone who clearly demonstrates the SportsDog values and someone who will be a difference maker for us and for the future of sports.”
Congrats Alex! You’ve earned it.
