About Gateway Field Hockey

Founded in 1985 in St. Louis, MO, Gateway has grown from a single summer camp into one of the most successful field hockey clubs in the country. They are consistently ranked #1 in Missouri and one of the top 10 in the USA—a testament to their focus on coaching and commitment to player development. They offer a variety of programs for all skill levels and grades ranging from Pre-K - 12.

 

Gateway was looking for a registration and communication solution that could help them expand into new programming. Since switching to LeagueApps in January of 2020, they have launched a new clinic series and doubled the size of their business—a feat that Associate Director Kate Graft believes has been fueled in part by our platform.

Automated Emails

With multiple programs operating all at once, Gateway has hundreds of athletes registering at the same time. Our automated messaging tool allows them to send registration confirmations with program information around next steps, schedules, and more without lifting a finger.

Email Templates

Gateway admins are able to build custom email templates in the LeagueApps management console, streamlining communications around registration, event details, changes due to weather, and more. The result: hours of manual work saved.

Bulk Messaging

When an athlete registers for a Gateway program, they’re automatically added to the appropriate roster on the back-end. From that roster, Gateway admins can bulk message the entire group with program information rather than repeating the action for individual members.

Gateway needed a registration system that would help them stay organized on the back-end. Our custom dashboard views allow them to see registration data at a glance – meaning they can easily send out invoice reminders and collect what they’re owed.
