  • Where is it?

    NextUp will take place at etc.Venues 360 Madison, located at 360 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10017. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

  • How do I get there?

    If you’re flying, the closest airport to the venue is LaGuardia Airport. You can either take a 20-40 min Uber/Lyft from there, or take the Q70 bus to Woodside and then take the Long Island Railroad from Woodside to Grand Central Station. The venue is also 16 miles from JFK International Airport and 17.1 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport.

    The venue is walking distance from Grand Central Station where you can access the Long Island Railroad, Metro North, the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S subway lines, and a variety of buses. It is also a 23 minute walk or 16 minute subway from Penn Station.

  • How do I get in?

    Access the venue via the entrance on East 45th Street. Look for LeagueApps Staff!

  • What’s the conference schedule?

    We are still working out the schedule for NextUp programming, but we are aiming to start around 10am on October 25th and end at around 6pm. On October 26th, we’ll start around 9am and wrap up around 4pm. Feel free to book whatever flights are most convenient for you.

  • Where should I stay?

    Our conference venue is close to various hotels including the Hyatt Grand Central, Millenium Hilton, and Hampton Inn. We are finalizing a hotel block at one of the nearby hotels. If you are interested in details around this, please email nextup@leagueapps.com.

  • What else can I do while I’m in NYC?

    The conference is taking place at a central NYC location that is a short walk away from some of the city’s most famous landmarks—like Times Square, Radio City, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, Bryant Park, Broadway, and Madison Square Garden!

  • Where should I eat near the Venue?

    Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and coffee/ refreshments will be provided each day. Most meals will be served buffet style and snacks will be prepackaged. If you have any dietary requests or restrictions, please reach out to nextup@leagueapps.com.

    After the conference, you can grab dinner, drinks, or dessert at one of the many iconic restaurants in the area, including some of our favorites:

    • Angelo’s Coal Oven Pizzeria— Angelo’s has some of the best pizza and penne alla vodka in the city. (117 W. 57th St.)

    • Best Bagel & Coffee—You can’t leave NYC without a bagel, and this is one of the top ones in New York. (225 W. 35th St.)
      It’s worth the walk, but if you want something closer there’s always Ess-a-Bagel on 3rd ave.

    • Monkey Bar—A high-end hotspot known for its burger and french dip. (60 E. 54th St.)

    • PJ Clarke's—A classic American pub established in the 1800s. (915 3rd ave.)

    • Alidoro—A popular specialty Italian sandwich shop. (18 E. 39th)

    • Docks—Docks has a famous oyster and drinks happy hour daily from 3-7pm. (633 3rd ave.)
